Candide Eye is a full service photography studio. Every wedding, engagement, event and family session is treated as a special moment in time. We offer a wide variety of products more than you see online. Including ALBUMS of all sizes with a variety of cover choices  (Glass, Canvas, and Leather).   We also offer custom USB's  to store your amazing memories on.

Portrait Session information:  Everything is kept simple and fun. Portrait sessions can be done indoors at the studio or outdoors at a location on Staten Island or for the adventurous off island (travel fees may apply).  All sessions require a non refundable deposit at the time of booking.   

The session fee covers time for the session and talent in editing the session. Your images are viewable in an online gallery. Usually within 7 to 10 days, if not sooner.  Editing is done to my artistic tastes and does not include retouching.

Weather delays: if portraits are needed within a certain time frame. Please book early enough to allow for weather delays and rescheduling if needed.  

IMPORTANT notes about sessions: Cell Phone Photos or other cameras are not allowed to be used during our session. Children especially tend  to look more at the parent then at me and lose focus. It can be very distracting. Our time together is precious. If you have small children, pack a drink and a small snack. For our  littlest clients an extra diaper or two.  Wardrobe changes are allowed during a portrait session, but please note it will take away from your time.     

Any time you receive a digital download or a custom usb of your photos you are granted a print release for personal use. This allows you to have your photos printed anywhere, but a pro lab is  recommended.  Photos are for personal use only not commercial.  If photos are to be used in the newspaper or in social media please make sure that Candid Eye Inc.  is given photo credit.

The portrait session/package rates are per family of up to 4 people on Staten Island. If you have a larger group or if travel off of Staten Island is required please contact us regarding any additional fees.  Servicing the NYC Metro area and NJ.  PAYMENT IN FULL IS DUE THE DAY OF THE SESSION.

Galleries:  Will remain on the website for a minimum of 90 days.  So any purchases or selections should be made before then. There is a $50 fee to reopen a gallery that has been removed. The availability of any removed gallery is not guaranteed.    

DOWNLOAD LINKS:  Are sent via email and have  an expiration date on them.  Please make sure to download your images within a timely fashion. If additional links are requested fees may apply.  Once you download your images,  it is suggested you transfer them onto a USB for safe keeping.    

PARTIES & SPECIAL EVENTS: Available for ALL special occasions including  Weddings - Sweet 16's, Engagements Parties, Communions, Christenings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, and School Events. Let us capture the memories, while you have fun.   

Pricing varies by event, time, and locations.  When booking an event, a deposit is required. There are additional charges for travel outside of Staten Island or when more than one location is requested.  After the event, photographs are reviewed, basic editing is done and your gallery is typically made available for viewing within 30 business days. 

Editing is done based on my artistic style and does not include retouching.  

A four hour minimum, is required for all Saturday evening parties/events.  Please contact me for more information.   

ONSITE PRINTING AND CUSTOM BACKDROPS/STEP AND REPEATS ARE AVAILABLE.   

NOTES regarding permissions and watermarks for all sessions and events:  Watermarks are for display purposes only. They will NOT appear on your final print.  The buyer purchasing the services of Candid Eye Inc. grants Candid Eye Inc.  the right to use any pictures and video images taken for any promotional purposes.  This also includes, the right to place photos in an online gallery, slideshow, portfolio, and social media.  Candid Eye Inc. owns the copyright to all photos.   Any time you receive a digital download or a disc of your photos you are granted a PRINT RELEASE for PERSONAL USE. This allows you to have your photos printed anywhere, but I do recommend a pro lab.   When purchasing digital images, Candid Eye Inc. does not guarantee the quality of prints from other labs.  When ordering a print online or a digital image, please be aware that cropping may occur depending on the size you select.  Products are always available for purchase directly with us  or through the website. 

Some Frequently Asked Questions

Are the photos copyrighted? Yes they are. Candid Eye Inc. owns the copyright to all photographs taken.  When purchasing a package with images files. We are  granting you a  print release for personal use ONLY.  The images may not be used for commercial purposes.  It is against the law to use the photos without purchasing the copyright or written permission.  After you receive your photos and you would like to post some on a social media site, you MUST credit Candid Eye Inc. Or you can ask us to post them with a watermark  on them. 

When is the best time to photograph newborns, for the sleepy baby look?  Newborns, are best photographed within the first ten days.   Once they hit the two week mark they are more awake.
